Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including arranging tables and chairs, setting up decorations, and preparing audiovisual equipment.
- Greet and direct event attendees, providing them with information and assistance as needed.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and security of attendees.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing attendee questions and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with crowd control and manage lines or queues during events.
- Perform various tasks as assigned by event coordinators or supervisors.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Experience working with children or in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of theater production or food service is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift/move heavy objects if necessary.
