Event Lead and Operations Planner, Senior
The Opportunity:

As an Event Lead and Operations Planner, you'll bring your operational level of war and training expertise to work alongside thought leaders in enhancing warfighting effectiveness, maximizing commonality, and focusing on maritime C2 at the tactical and operational levels of war. You'll use your skills and expertise to provide Fleet Commanders and Navy facilities with advanced level training and exercises leading to certification and operational readiness.
Work with us to prepare staffs to perform the functions of a commander or form the nucleus of a joint task force (JTF).

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with Naval Operations
  • 10+ years of experience with modeling and simulation in Operational Level of War exercises, Fleet Synthetic Training, or service exercises
  • Experience with the Navy Training Baseline (NTB) simulation suite
  • Experience in operational and exercise planning
  • Ability to author high-quality products using Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including short-notice travel
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience serving as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) operator during testing and exercise execution events
  • Knowledge of the Operational Level of War and Distributed Maritime Operations
  • Ability to compile input from multiple authors, research discrepancies, and analyze results
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines
  • TS/SCI clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
