Duties and Responsibilities

Support the implementation of admission annual marketing and recruitment plans with responsibility for events, visits and meetings that support the recruitment and enrollment of students in Undergraduate, Graduate and Seminary Admissions Offices. Supervise full-time and part-time Visit Team staff.

    • Plan, coordinate, manage registrations, and oversee execution of all admissions offices sponsored events and meetings.
    • Monitor and work to assure web content relative to campus events is current and accurate.
    • Process prospect inquires for those students not in CRM that have registered for an event.
    • Oversee Visit Team staff, including hiring and training of new team members including Student Ambassadors.
    • In conjunction with Visit Team and admissions directors, identify, train, and manage visit, Event and meeting staff and volunteers.
    • Assess and evaluate visit, events and meeting guests needs. Submit recommendations for changes and modifications.
    • Update campus tour route and information as necessary.
    • Support all admissions teams in recruitment efforts, including leading weekly small group admissions presentations.
    • Assure that guests are welcomed and hosted in a professional and gracious fashion.
    • Be conversant in all North Park University programs.
    • Lead, participate in and contribute to work teams as assigned.

Requirements

    • Personal commitment and ability to effectively articulate North Park’s mission and philosophy of Christian higher education.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
    • Excellent ability to communicate with people, including prospective students and families, through email, phone, and in person.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including some evenings and occasional weekends.
    • Ability to collaborate and develop partnerships between different organizational groups.
    • Adaptable and flexible, able to prioritize and respond effectively to multiple demands.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook needed.

Desired

    • Valid IL driver’s license and clean driving record.
    • One to three years’ work experience.
    • Recruitment experience preferred.
    • Event management experience preferred.
