Job description

The Event and Corporate Relations Manager provides support for all aspects of Heritage Christian Services Foundation’s fundraising activities and events. They have an eye for detail and ensure everything goes smoothly, allowing hosts and guests alike to have a meaningful experience. Additionally, they aid in developing and maintaining strong Corporate Relationships. Supports the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.


  • Coordinate planning and execution of all special events, from inception to post-event responsibilities. Events include but not limited to:
    • HCS Golf Classic; Heritage Hero Run + Stroll + Roll (Rochester and Buffalo)
    • Donor cultivation events including the Leadership Circle Luncheons and Social (Rochester and Buffalo); Mothers Club Luncheon; Legacy Society Induction; RPO Gala Holiday Pops Concert and donor reception
    • Annual Dinner (Rochester), Family Dinner (Buffalo)
    • Planned Giving Seminars
    • Educational Webinars
    • Campaign related events including donor receptions, kick-off and celebratory close event
    • New events as they develop
  • Develop and manage timelines and budgets for successful execution of events
  • Oversee and manage all event committees and taskforces
  • Manage the volunteer coordinator position, who assist sin recruiting volunteers for events and ongoing program needs
  • Develop and maintain Corporate Relationships
  • Solicit for sponsorships and gift-in-kind donations
  • Manage community/faith engagement opportunities
  • Oversees and manages additional fundraising efforts including, but not limited to:
    • United Way of Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes Community Campaign and workplace campaign
    • United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, Niagara County Community Campaign and Workplace Campaign
    • Online fundraisers including ROC the Day, Giving Tuesday and Give 716

 

              

 

 


    • Preferred at least 3-years’ experience in event coordination
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Project management experience
    • Budget management experience
    • Experience in event software such as RunSignup, Greater Giving, etc.
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
    • Expert interpersonal skills and top-notch customer service
    • Personable and energetic with positive attitude
    • A valid, New York state driver’s license that is in compliance with Heritage Christian Services’ motor vehicle record standards
