Responsibilities:
- By decoding customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, our clients can understand exactly what services, products, and experiences their consumers need
- Should have strong skills on ETL design patterns and data architecture, UNIX and Db2
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers
- To provide end to end ETL Design solutions and support Architecture in defining strategies
- To understand the overall purpose of the projects and contribute to requirements & data analysis, and provide solutions from an ETL perspective
- Delivery of high level design documents with ETL & DWH strategy, standards and adhering to ETL & BIW principles & policies•
- Functions as both an expert and lead technical resource on ETL projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Recommends improvements to ETL processes to improve on data delivery, data quality and overall processing efficiency
- Strong understanding of ETL, Application Data Integration, DWH and Report designs with functional and non-functional assessment for global implementations
Qualification :
- Good exposure of Informatica Command line utilities such as pmcmd, pmrep, etc•§ Able to design end to end ETL solution for complex case studies•
- Working knowledge of at least two Job scheduler tools•
- Using all of the above components to create and maintain an enterprise data solution and rules execution
- Must have hands-on experience with SQL, Shell Scripting, bash, Korn shell scripting, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis and data migration
