Position Overview:
Title:Ethics & Compliance Data Analyst Intern (Summer 2024)
Reports to: Sustainability and Compliance Associate
Location: Norwalk, CT (Hybrid)
About the Position:
The Ethics & Compliance Data Analyst Intern will be exposed to a broad array of corporate ethics and compliance issues. In this role, the Ethics & Compliance Data Analyst Intern can expect to work on enhancing the Terex Corporation Ethics & Compliance program in the areas of workplace culture, anti-corruption, trade compliance, fraud detection and prevention, among others. The Ethics & Compliance Intern will gain practical in-house compliance experience relevant to a corporate environment. The main project the intern will be tasked with is data analysis for the company-wide Ethics Index survey results. The intern is expected to be in person at least twice a week.
The summer internship will run from Monday, June 3, 2024 - August 16, 2024 on a 40-hour work week schedule, with potential to extend or hire depending on business need and individual performance.

The compensation for this position is $25/hr for undergraduate interns and $27/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay but is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Ethics Index data analysis
- Create a program for team members to submit volunteer hours
- Facilitate Sustainability report document collection
- Create training material for various compliance topics
- Facilitate policy and annual certification updates
- Enhance export country profile documents
- Facilitate planning of the BPA Summit
Required Qualifications
- Rising undergraduate junior or senior for academic year 2024 or graduate student (JD, MBA, etc.)
- Business degree background
- Excellent English writing skills
- Extensive Excel experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent worker
- Strong analytical and researching skills
- Ability to work in office at least twice a week
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data tools
- Experience working with document and presentation design tools such as Canva
- Experience creating training material
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in format editing for PDF documents
- Computer skills with proficiency in Word, Windows, and PowerPoint
- Ability to create effective presentations and other communication forms
- Creative
- Articulate
- Self-confident
- Dependable and reliable in meeting target deliverables
- Work effectively as part of a team
