As a Remote Construction Estimator at ROC Construction & Development, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed estimations primarily focused on residential projects. While the main emphasis is on residential work, there might be occasional involvement in light commercial estimations. Responsibilities:
- Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Residential Focus: Focus primarily on residential projects, taking into account the unique requirements and specifications of each.
- Light Commercial: Occasionally engage in light commercial estimations as required by the project portfolio.
- Budgeting: Work closely with project management teams to develop comprehensive project budgets.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis, considering materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimations, including supporting documentation and notes for future reference.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction market dynamics to enhance the accuracy of estimations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, with a focus on residential projects.
