Estimator (Division 8 - Doors, Frames And Hardware)

We are seeking a Division 8 - Doors, Frames, and Hardware Estimator to join our estimating team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately assess and estimate costs for metal doors, frames, and Hardware installations ensuring competitiveness and profitability for our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review project blueprints, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work related to Division 8 installations.
• Analyze project requirements and identify materials, labor, and equipment needed for metal doors, frames, and Hardware installations.
• Obtain quotes and pricing from suppliers and vendors for metal doors, frames, and Hardware components.
• Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and other costs associated with Division 8 installations.
• Evaluate potential risks, challenges, and constraints that may impact project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and correspondence for future reference and analysis.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Required - Division 8 (Doors, Frames and Hardware)
• Required - Comsense software experience (windows version)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks in project estimates.
• Proven experience in estimating Division 8 construction projects, specifically focusing on metal doors, frames, and Hardware installations.
• Analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to Division 8 installations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of construction estimating.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
