Responsibilities
- Ability to provide, learn, remember and perform all Keswick Hall Spa treatments as outlined in the protocol manual.
- Ability to make guests physically and emotionally comfortable while providing facial services.
- Ability to drape guest appropriately and conservatively, exposing only the body part being addressed.
- Ability to identify a wide range of skin symptoms and disorders, using a well-rounded knowledge of the human anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to prescribe homecare as appropriate.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management, both orally and in writing using correct spelling and grammar, in person and on the phone.
- Ability to multitask, be well organized, maintain concentration, focus on details, think clearly and follow up.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and spa team members.
- Ability to participate in a conversation for lengths of time without talking about self.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certificate of completion from a state or nationally certified school of aesthetics indicating a minimum of 600 hours of training in a state approved aesthetics or cosmetology training program.
- Current and active Virginia State Aesthetics license.
- 2-4 years of experience as an Aesthetician.
- Minimum of one year’s experience training other aestheticians to perform facials and writing treatment protocols.
- Advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Understanding of the theory, contraindications and benefits of facial treatments.
