Job Summary:

Emerging Technology in Business and Design: eSports Coach to manage the Esports program; student directors and interns.

Duties/Physical Demands:

The role of the eSports Coach will include managing enrollment, administration, and recruitment in the Miami University Masters in Esports Management program, assisting with managing daily communications and contacts with other programs (email, Slack, Discord, X, Instagram, TikTok– same-day response is a priority), serving as the point person with Esports Collegiate, CSL, CLoL, and other leagues regarding tournaments, coordinating with Miami University Advancement to seek outside revenue and support, representing Miami Esports at conferences and events as needed, managing all varsity Esports team captains and analysts and managing the volunteer Forge (student workers), assisting with recruiting efforts including on-campus events like Make it Miami, Miami Bound, tabling at events, etc., traveling as necessary to manage the team during off-campus events, managing tryouts and mediating any disputes between varsity members, other duties as assigned; because Esports is a quickly changing environment, some duties may change over time.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree. Demonstrable expertise in esports.
