Esports Camera Operator

Bad Machines is an upcoming Esports Bar that will be located near Cary Crossroads in Cary, North Carolina. We are the first bar of this kind in North Carolina that features handcrafted cocktails, local craft beer, small bites and video games that are free to play as long as you are drinking (or eating)!

This is an opportunity to join a new concept that is slowly growing into something big. If you are a fan of video games, especially esports, then this could be a fun opportunity for you to get into the game industry within a bar setting. We run regular esports tournaments and more of an event-driven bar.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Esports Camera Operator to join our team. As a Esports Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for an upcoming show we are shooting live at our bar. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of this show as we grow it into something big!

Duties:

- Operate cameras and related equipment during filming or live broadcasts

- Set up and adjust camera equipment, including lenses, filters, and lighting

- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other crew members to capture desired shots

- Follow scripts or instructions to ensure accurate filming of scenes

- Monitor and maintain camera equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Assist with post-production tasks such as video editing and color correction

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in camera technology

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Camera Operator or similar role

- Proficient in using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other video editing software

- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs

- Strong knowledge of video production techniques and equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
