Position Summary: The candidate in this position is responsible for creating weekly agendas, proctoring quizzes and exams, meeting daily teaching objectives as well as weekly objectives, and grading assignments, writing assignments, quizzes and exams.
This position is in-person at our 1642 Commonwealth Avenue Brighton main campus.
Teaching Schedule:
- Weekends: Friday (3:30PM-9:30PM), Saturday & Sunday (9:00AM-3:00PM) (This posting is for this schedule)
- Mornings: Monday to Thursday (9:00AM - 1:30PM) (Not Available)
- Evenings: Monday to Thursday (5:30PM - 10:00PM) (Not Available)
Part-Time Teachers choose and teach one of the above schedules, Full-Time Teachers choose two, subject to class availability.
Responsibilities
- Creating and completing a weekly agenda every week, the night before their first shift of that respective week
- Providing quality education that meets the course objectives, weekly objectives and daily objectives of every lesson
- Communicates clearly with other faculty and students regarding coursework and materials
- Submits accurate time sheets by the designated payroll due date of that pay period
- Communicates with the Academic Coordinator regarding planned absences, at least 2 week in advance
- May train incoming teachers
Success Criteria
- Employee is evaluated semi-annually for performance

Experience and Education Required
- Bachelors degree in Teaching/Linguistics/Languages, or
- Other Bachelors degree plus a TEFL/TESL/TESOL or any language teaching certificate, or
- Other Bachelors degree plus 3 months full time teaching experience teaching any language.
