We are currently seeking a full-time School Counselor to support our Primary School in Oldtown, ID.THE EXCITING CHALLENGE
The Primary School Counselor will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive counseling program for all upper Primary School students.
As a School Counselor, you will be responsible for providing individual and small group counseling, offering support and guidance to families, assisting BMS staff, and collaborating with the internal crisis management team.
Additionally, you will work with the transition team to develop and implement a school-wide transition education program that celebrates the diversity of our school community and supports all members during times of change.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are an effective communicator and team player, who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to student support.
- You are a dedicated, experienced, and dependable Counselor, always seeking opportunities to expand your expertise and improve the quality of your work.
- You hold a Master's degree or higher in Counseling or Psychology (pedagogical or clinical Psychology).
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and ideally in German as well.
- You have crosscultural experience and understanding.
- Previous experience working as a Counselor in an international school setting is preferred.
