We are currently seeking a dedicated Escrow Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Position Overview:
As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our escrow officers in managing and coordinating real estate transactions. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the escrow process from opening to closing, maintaining accurate records, communicating with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in opening escrow transactions by gathering and verifying all necessary documentation and information.
Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, title officers, and other parties involved in the transaction to facilitate a smooth closing process.
Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on the status of their transactions and address any inquiries or concerns.
Assist in disbursing funds.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents to ensure efficient workflow and record-keeping.
Provide general support to escrow officers and other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in real estate, finance, or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in escrow, real estate, title, or mortgage industry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of escrow procedures, real estate terminology, and relevant laws and regulations is desirable but not required (willingness to learn is essential).
