Come join our Venice Family Clinic team as an ERSEA Coordinator and make a difference in the community. The Coordinator for Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) for our Head Start program will have responsibility for conducting outreach and recruitment activities to assure the program has a sufficient wait-list to maintain mandated enrollment of 376 families at all times. The ERSEA Coordinator will act as an ambassador for Venice Family Clinic Early Head Start; often being the first contact a parent or community representative may have with the program. They will represent the program, Venice Family Clinic and the principles of Head Start in all aspects of their job performance with diplomacy and professionalism. Salary range: $24.28 - $48.04 Hourly
Requirements: * Minimum of (6) units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development. * Experience in community mobilizing, outreach, and public speaking. * Knowledge of local community resources. * Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards. * Proficient computer skills with PCs and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Publisher). * Ability to effectively problem solve, handle crisis, and work with low-income families in a human service setting. * Willingness and ability to visit the homes of families residing in high-risk communities in order to reach those most needing CFEHS services. * Willingness and ability to approach individuals from various backgrounds and ethnicities, in a multitude of environments to discuss program services and opportunities for enrollment in an empathic, nonjudgmental, respectful, and professional manner. * Schedule flexibility, a Current CA driver’s license, and transportation with insurance. ERSEA experience and bilingual language skills in Spanish is preferred.
