ERP Support Specialist- Job Description
Job Summary
Fortna is seeking an ERP Support Specialist with a user support background to perform ongoing support and maintenance of our existing ERP platforms and to participate in ERP implementation projects and enhancements.
The candidate has a proven track record of supporting ERP platforms and integrations to other systems and enjoys engaging with users and the organization. Besides the day-to-day support desk and maintenance work, the candidate will contribute to ERP initiatives and work in cross functional project teams to deliver new or improved ERP solutions.
As a member of the IT Business Applications team, the candidate will work closely with colleagues in a highly collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support to existing solutions, taking ownership of support tickets.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses and provides resolution to issues, and coordinates with business and other technical resources, both internal and external.
- Interact with external consultant for 3rd level break-fix escalation.
- Manages and coordinates system patch updates.
- Manages user accounts and permissions and performs recurring audits.
- Document and maintain system configuration.
- Develop material and deliver training.
- Takes ownership of integration to other Enterprise applications, including error handling and resolution.
- Engage in a supporting role in various phases of implementation projects, perform configuration changes, testing, data migration, documentation, and training.
- Adhere to IT department policies and procedures when performing tasks to ensure controls are in place and processes are being followed.
- Stays up-to-date on Fortna ERP platform's product roadmaps.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related business field.
- 3 years experience supporting ERP platforms, preferably IQMS, Navision or Infor LN.
- Strong analytical core and attention to detail are expected.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Must be comfortable at multitasking at times of conflicting priorities and concurrent problems.
- Industry experience in engineering, procurement, warehousing, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and understand company business processes and how they integrate with specific ERP platform.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technical employees.
- Competency in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of the organization.
The base salary range for this role is $55,800 to $83,700. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
