Position Summary / Career Interest:
The position participates in advanced design in the development of new enterprise and unit level applications/systems; help develop and promote technical processes and best practices; assist in activities necessary to complete major solution deployments. Position requires a wide variety of technical skills and knowledge, and the ability to consult with and aid other application developers and engineers of varying levels and experience. Understands business needs to develop and implement enterprise solutions that solve business and technology problems. Stays abreast of emerging software technologies and is viewed as a thought leader in advanced application designs; influences technology and solution roadmaps to the organization.
Provide accurate technical information in helping major projects; process development; source control methodologies; TFS Management; and solution development. Utilize breadth of knowledge across all technology & application domains to provide design recommendations with a goal of innovation and cutting-edge approach. Support long-term scalable strategy with the evolution of new technologies while also advocating for standardization & reuse of existing solution and products. Participate in technical discussions that lead to alignment behind the organization's recommendations and goals.
Responsibilities:

• The position participates in development of new applications/systems or technical processes, contribute to activities required to complete major enterprise and departmental application projects.
• Aid in technical design approach and standards; demonstrate knowledge in technical design by articulating the strengths and weaknesses associated with utilizing alternative development solutions.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years as Software Engineer/developer experience.
• Recommend upgrades or enhancements based on technical trends or changes in existing solutions;
• Determine new ways to package existing technologies in order to produce innovative solutions; suggest new hardware and software that should be developed to surpass the limitations of existing solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft stack: .NET Framework, C#.NET, SQL, TFS, API, MVC, ASP.NET, Azure Proficient in HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, XML, JQuery, Ajax, JSON Proficient with SQL Server configuration, T-SQL, Big Data.
• Proficient in network protocols; HTTP, DNS, IP, and Security.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Software development methodology in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of Mobile application development, and deployment a plus.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Participate in technical design discussions and best practice.
• Ability to communicate, work with other engineers in design, coding, and development techniques; help maintain best practices document and adherence.
• Ability to communicate with a non-technical audience in presenting/discussing a technical subject matter at all levels.
• Must be flexible to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.
• Assist with producing specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with latest features
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of SharePoint architecture and best practices a plus.
• Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• BI Knowledge, Analytics, Dimensional Modeling, SSAS, SSRS, SAS, ETL, Data Architect a plus.
• Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Participate in and conduct code reviews, peer reviews, pair programming

Required:

• Bachelor's in technology or related study -or-
• 5 years of experience as a Software Developer/Engineer

• Master's degree
