ERP Business Process Specialist
We are looking for a person with strong Accounting/Finance acumen and in-depth knowledge of ERP systems to be our next ERP Business Process Specialist.
In your role as a ERP Business Process Specialist, you will be based in the CFO pillar of the organization, reporting to the Vice President of Business Excellence. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, and IT to integrate comprehensive processes in Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. Your primary responsibility is to use your accounting and finance expertise to analyze and execute specific requirements in the ERP system and ensure system and process optimization. Moreover, you will be a key team member for deploying, enhancing design, and configuring systems to optimize the utilization of business applications for end users. You will also provide support in day-to-day operations.
Major Accountabilities

• As the ERP Business Process expert in finance and accounting, you will be accountable for ensuring that finance functions meet business needs and objectives, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify and resolve issues with system ERP applications.
• Partner with finance in a critical stage where a new costing method is being implemented.
• Assist with new software integration into company systems to ensure they meet financial and system compliance.
• Assist business teams with implementation and understanding of accounting settlement rules in ERP modules.
• Assist with translating business requirements into sustainable solutions and supporting technical designs and configuration documents.

Qualifications
Desired Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance Degree; CPA highly desirable.
• Background in Business Process improvement; Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification or experience preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Finance and Accounting ERP modules
• Solid business understanding and ability to build relationships between business and IT
• Working knowledge of requirement definition, solution design and testing
• A demonstrated knowledge of, as well as the ability to effectively manage and configure operational processes in the areas of P2P (Procure-to-Pay), O2C (Order-to-Cash), and R2R (Record-to-Report).
• Experience working on multi-phase implementations is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a geographically diverse organization.

Physical Requirements

• Duties require use of computer keyboard and mouse, and telephone (possibly with wireless headset);
• Must be able to sit in one place for extended periods of time, but may also require some limited movement around office locations;
• No heavy lifting required.
