Erp Application Administrator

Position Summary
Comfort Systems USA is looking for an ERP Application Administrator. This role will provide business user support for activities related to the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and additional business applications. In this position, you will bridge the communications gap between business users and information technologists, train on new and existing capabilities, improve existing processes, and support enterprise IT applications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Attain knowledge in the ERP modules.
• Application and OS level support to end users to facilitate operations of COINS ERP+ software.
• Maintain and monitor support helpdesk tickets and respond to end users as needed.
• Monitor performance and system alerts, investigate related issues, and resolve problems.
• Assist with software upgrades and updates, including refreshing nonproduction environments and implementing bug fixes.
• Create and maintain user accounts in accordance with policies and guidelines.
• Assist with development and management of security groups and profiles in accordance with company standards and audit requirements.
• Act as Change Owner for Change Control workflow, and backup Change Manager, as needed.
• Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures related to ERP+ application administration.
• Maintain confidentiality, protecting company, personal, and private information.
• Responsive to employees and managers.
• Other duties as assigned and required to the meet emerging ERP needs of the business.
• Shift begins at 7am CST until 4pm CST.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications

• 2+ years of ERP+ and other application support experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of internal controls.
• Strong problem-solving skills, drive to do things the right way and ability to prioritize/triage constantly evolving user needs.
• Experience with application testing, change and release management discipline is beneficial.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Able to work in a support team environment.
• Able to work with video conferencing and other virtual forms of communication with both support team and users.
• Preferred Technology Exposure: COINS ERP+/Ti/Character, Power BI, SharePoint, Red Hat/CentOS Linux, Windows, Microsoft Office365, Windows & Linux system administration.
• Travel - occasional travel may be required to support this role.
