AddressMonitors cardiac telemetry on patients within the Emergency Department. Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned area.
Reports to: Director of ER
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent Required
Coursework in medical terminology and telemetry Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic keyboarding/typing skills equivalent to 20 wpm. Basic computer skills.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous secretarial experience required, preferably in a medical setting.
