• Taxable per week: $1404.00
• Non-taxable stipend per week: $1239.00

Shift: Days & Nights available

Shift length: 36 hours and 13-week length contract

2 years of recent ER experience in a hospital setting required***

Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced ER Nurses to join our team at . As an ER Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to utilize your acute care skills and make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Duties:
- Perform triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform various procedures such as gastric lavage, spinal taps, and phlebotomies
- Provide airway management and assist with intubation if necessary
- Conduct addiction counseling and provide support to patients with substance abuse issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Assist with emergency procedures such as CPR and defibrillation
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency department setting
- Proficiency in acute care skills including but not limited to CT scans, dermal fillers, and airway management
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
