At VERC, our mission is to provide the highest standard of emergency and specialty medicine, offering the most comprehensive and progressive patient care on the Hawaiian Islands About the Role: Our ER Client Care Concierge will provide a communication bridge between the ER clinical team and the front desk, ensuring that the clients/owners know where they are in the Emergency Room process. This position requires on site availability and can not be done remotely. About You: We are looking for an energetic "people person" needed for our busy specialty and emergency veterinary hospital to communicate updates to clients.
Primary duties will include: Ensure that all client and rDVM information is accurate and documented. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and ability to discuss financial obligations with clients and will act as a client-pet advocate and update various doctors and technicians regarding client's financial situation and the client's goals for the pet's treatment. Ease with computer systems is necessary with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures desired, but not necessary; this aspect can be trained for an individual with excellent communication skills.
