Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Radiology Operations, the Radiology Admitting Representative will be responsible for assisting with patients and families in a prompt and courteous manner. Consistently securing accurate demographic information to create a complete medical record. Will assist in coverage for the Radiology Scheduling desk when needed.
Pay Range
Minimum $19.50 Midpoint $19.50 Maximum $20.50
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience Minimum Required: 6 months working in registration in a clinical setting. Experience Preferred Desired: 1 year working in admitting/registration in a hospital setting. Education Description: Education Minimum Required: HS diploma or GED Education Desired Preferred: Some college preferred. Training Description: Training Minimum Required: Experience working with computers, faxes, multiline phones, copiers, printers and other office machines. Training Desired Preferred: Special Skills Description: Special Skills Minimum Required: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, excellent communication skills, strong team player, medical terminology. Special Skills Desired Preferred: Licensure Description: Licensure Minimum: Licensure Preferred: Basic Life Support
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
Medium - High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +/- 150-200 lbs. (Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer 150-200 lbs. (ie. Patient) .
