Wedbush Securities welcomes all graduating seniors to apply for our exclusive Equities Associate Rotational Program (EARP). As one of the largest securities firms and investment banks headquartered in Los Angeles, we provide innovative financial solutions through our Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Futures, and Advanced Clearing & Prime Services divisions. Our annual recruitment window to identify the most qualified students amongst the nation's top universities for the EARP is now open.

The Equities Associate Rotational Program is a competitive two year-rotational program designed for top-tier graduating seniors to actively engage in rotations within Equity Research, and Sales & Trading. This exciting program is tailored to launch careers in finance by giving opportunities to obtain a Series 7 license and train alongside Wall Street veterans. Training begins in June 2023 and takes place in New York or Los Angeles. Qualified candidates will be contacted for next steps with interviews taking place in March.

  • Send a stock pitch. You may cover any public company of your choice. Optional: provide the Excel model used for analysis in a separate document; OR
  • Describe your passion for the market. Incorporate key factors that indicate your knowledge of the political economy, interest in growth companies, the stock market, etc.

Submission deadline: February 28th at 11:59pm.

Experience and Skills
  • Must obtain Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university by June 2023 (graduation dates of December 2022 are also eligible to apply)
  • Must have a passion for the securities industry
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize daily work flow with little direction
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Strong work ethic and academic achievement
  • Must be able to verify current eligibility to work in the United States as Wedbush cannot provide employment sponsorship now or in the future in connection with this program

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
