Job Description

Summary

Overall, the Equipment Specialist will be responsible for Equipment Handling and other related operations within the organization with an underlying willingness to continuously develop and implement current procedures whilst remaining flexible to the growing and changing demands of the organization.

Responsibilities

• High quality and timely execution of job obligations
• Ensure preventive equipment maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance, make assessments, and decide about actions needed.
• Organize equipment utilization.
• Monitor and control equipment in storage
• Make timely orders.
• Attendance of trainings and workshops necessary for job assignments according to the development plan and request of the Manager
• Treat all the team members fairly, equality and with a sense of respect

Duties

• Quality control of equipment.
• Technical work planning / execution lead.
• Equipment planning and ordering in advance.
• Control storage inventory and utilization processes.
• Lead department projects
• Lead trainings and re-qualification for Equipment Support
• Lead ES shadow days
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and service standards, report quality and service problems, identify workable solutions and recommend system improvements.
• Estimate length of time required to complete a job and consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales.
• Provide weekly reports.
• Update KPI reports.
• Consult with colleagues and other departments and work flexibly.
• Participate in regular internal and external trainings as part of continuing professional development.
• Roulette wheel rotation
• Roulette wheel swap between the tables,
• WIMD correction
• NANO puller connection
• Roulette wheel level correction/re-levelling
• In-rim sensors calibration
• Roulette wheel check with calibration tools
• Roulette wheel check with DPC tester (installed on all roulette tables),
• Visual check for any defect
• BO (Back Office) timely updates
• Wheels settings correction
• Communication/ providing correct information to Equipment Manager North America and other members of GIR department.
• Shuffle machine exchange/maintenance/cleaning
• Shuffle machine calibration
• Exchanging / removing broken parts of the unit, for the new ones.
• Communication with manufactory representative/technical team for tech support
• Shuffle machine test (brand new ones) before to install them on the table.
• Complete responsibility for card transportation and destruction and signing of related documents.
• On an occasional base these following tasks will be required: Electrical soldering; Joiner's work, transporting order; Loading and unloading; Carrying of heavy objects.
• Perform any ad hoc duties instructed by your direct manager that meets the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• Understanding electronics and technical principles.
• Linux knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
• A high sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team as well as alone and unsupervised.
• Be a Multi-tasker, have team spirit and be likeable.
• Ability to plan and forecast effectively.
• Be driven, flexible and proactive.
• Attention to detail.
• Great problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Microsoft Windows maintenance
• Basic Microsoft Server maintenance
• Good computer hardware knowledge installation and troubleshooting with an understanding of network architectures.
• Previous IT and/or technical background
• Handy with common tools
• Good working knowledge of English
• Flexibility to work out of office hours as well as weekends when necessary.
• Flexibility to travel for extended period for training purposes.
