The Equipment Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a broad range of commercial cleaning equipment ranging from backpack vacuums to ride-on floor scrubbers. 

 

Salary: $22/hr.  $500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days of employment.  Position eligible for up to 10% bonus

Responsibilities

You will:

• Perform scheduled, ad hoc or fleet maintenance on machines and equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• Determine parts to order and generate work orders
• Read and interpret schematics and diagrams
• Communicate and coordinate with various parties (Administrator, Sales Reps, customers)
• Travel to customer's place of business and arrive on time
• Clean up after the job is complete
• Maintain the work vehicle

Qualifications

You have:

• HVAC, machinery repair, small engine repair or other experience or technical aptitude
• Understanding of electrical systems (volt meters, battery systems, electrical systems)
• Active and valid driver's license and clear MVR
• High standard of workmanship and professionalism
• Good troubleshooting ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with computer applications and use, email, etc.
