Equipment Operator(Front End Loader)/Agriculture Laborer

Mertens Diversified Ag, LLC is seeking a multi-talented candidate for a year-round position. We are a diversified agriculture operation looking for an experienced person to help in our manure/compost business and with harvest operations on our farm side. Our home base and farming operations are located in New Raymer, CO area with the bulk of manure operations located in the Wiggins, Colorado area.

We are looking for an individual with a clean MVR and valid driver’s license, who can obtain a medical card and CDL if not already possessed. Daily tasks will include: daily maintenance on front end loaders and semis/dump trucks, loading trucks with manure and cleaning cattle pens with a loader, stockpiling manure in the feed yard and delivering compost to field locations. You will be communicating with and helping organize other semis, drivers and feedlot employees efficiently to move product to the necessary locations . During our various grain harvests you will be helping with hauling grain away from the field to local elevators or home storage. Hours during harvest times (July, September, October) may be longer and some weekends may be required. Our ideal applicant will be self-motivated, hardworking, organized, detail oriented and timely.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Loader operation: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• New Raymer, CO: Relocate before starting work (Required)
