,We are seeking a Marina Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as loading, and lifting/launching boats and equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience operating equipment like marina forklifts, tractors, etc. While experience is always appreciated, we are also WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATES!
**IMPORTANT INFO BEFORE YOU APPLY**
This job requires employees to spend the majority of their time outdoors. This is a year-round position. The marina is open 7 days a week and is also open on some holidays.

- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Launch and retrieve boats safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

-Capable of working well independently
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Experience OR willingness to learn to safely operate heavy equipment and standard equipment such as marina forklifts, golf carts, tractors, boats, and more
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and directions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
