Form of workEquipmentShare is searching for an Equipment Operations Specialist. This is a new roleto support our Robotics Team at our headquarters in Columbia, MO and in Fulton, MO.
As a Equipment Operations Specialist you'll demo automated construction technology, and you'll work with the technical team to expand our automated platform offerings for our customers. This position will add construction expertise to a very technical robotics team to bridge the gap and offer better solutions to our customers.
This position will be based out of Fulton MO and will require travel between Fulton & Columbia MO offices. There is a possibility that travel will be required to certain branches across the US for training needs. Travel likely will be 10-25%.
Primary Responsibilities- Operating heavy equipment in constructed scenarios and communicating requirements from an operator's perspective.
- Involved in the rental flow this person will engage with other teams such as Engineering, Product, Sales & Operations in order to find the best solutions for the customer
- Using their knowledge of construction and heavy equipment to bridge various domains together
- Training internal teams on machine guided operations
- Meets with clients to demo products, translate their needs and obtain feedback. Use this feedback and information to provide recommendations on how the team can enhance features
- Influence the roadmap on future products and features with construction subject matter expertise

Skills & Qualifications- Active CDL preferred
- 2 years or more of significant experience in the construction industry, specifically working with land/ foundation development and/or agricultural equipment.
- Understanding of technology used on equipment for automation
- Experience and/or interest in automation or technology in construction equipment
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Experience working with complex systems (strong computer skills)
- Experience working with engineering and product team (preferred)
- Understanding of coding languages (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, interpret customer feedback, adapt their communication style to suit the audience
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
