Summary:
The Equipment Maintenance/PM Technician will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is in calibration and good working order, as well as building systems (such as compressed air, water chillers, fire prevention, etc) undergo preventative maintenance and repair as needed within our purpose built 70,000 sq. foot facility. The Equipment Maintenance/PM Technician will determine if preventative maintenance or repair can be performed on-site or if external vendors, contractors, OEM are required. The Equipment Maintenance/PM Technician will work with department managers, supervisors, and QMR compliance for calibration and repair requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with department managers, supervisors, and QMR compliance to ensure equipment is calibrated and building systems are undergoing preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoots issues to determine if repair is needed, if that repair can be performed by on-site staff or if OEM or external vendors are required for repairs
- Works with equipment vendors and manufacturers to facilitate equipment repair
- Performs routine/preventative maintenance (as applicable) on building systems
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess hands on experience with mechanical equipment calibration
- Proven ability to perform preventive maintenance & repair on building systems (such as electrical, plumbing, compressed air, water chillers, fire prevention, etc.)
- Experienced with project managing external vendors, contractors, & OEM’s
