Equipment Maintenance - Material Recovery Facility (2nd Shift)

We have the following position at our Agua Mansa/Riverside division for the 2nd Shift:

Equipment Maintenance

Performs day to day general maintenance and repairs, and preventive maintenance on sort lines, balers, forklifts, bobcats, company vehicles, etc.

SALARY RANGE: $24.85/hour - $31.55/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Maintain Material Recovery Facility equipment in good and safe working condition for the processing of municipal solid waste and recycling.
• Proper use of safety equipment and procedures, must provide and use steel toe safety boots.
• Must abide by all company rules and policies.
• Properly communicate and give continuous status to Supervisor/Manager on Equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Some knowledge of electrical and hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Familiar with the use of power tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand shop manuals and parts manuals.
• Be able to order parts as necessary.
• Will fill out work orders and purchase orders.
• Have good English Communication skills.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Valid California Driver's License with clean record, required
• Experience with diesel, gasoline and propane engines, preferred

PHYSICAL:

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 75lbs.
• Physically demanding.
• Work overhead and underneath equipment, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Will be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, heat, and cold conditions
• Frequently out in the elements, i.e. rain, sun, wind, etc
