Outdoor Power Equipment and Parts Sales – Full Time Position available
We are an outdoor power equipment (OPE) dealer located in Cartersville, GA that is looking to add a qualified sales and Parts representative to assist our growing company in the sales of outdoor power equipment, parts, and service. Looking for the right person to join this family business. Prior experience in working in an equipment sale and/or parts department is preferred. Applicants must have computer skills, be detail oriented, have a proven track record of positive sales experience, be able to lift 70-lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods of time as well as have a real desire to help customers find the correct Equipment and Parts for their application and products. A mechanical background is a plus, but the ability to multi-task is crucial. Compensation is hourly with an annual bonus opportunity based on company sales and sales margin.
Requirements:
· Two or more years of Equipment and Parts Sales or parts management experience with a track record of success in one of the following industries: Agricultural equipment, motor vehicle industry, outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, construction Equipment and machinery, small engine and accessories.
· Ability to greet customers in a friendly and timely manner. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; respond well to questions. Respond promptly to customer needs.
· Customer service experience managing difficult or emotional customer situations.
· Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage competing demands.
· Ability to Lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. plus work outdoors and indoors in all weather.
· Ability to work Mon-Fri 4 of those days (Wed or Thurs off) 8-10 hr days and Saturday schedule. (Saturday hours are 8:45 am to 1:15 pm)
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
· Primary Responsibility – Assist customers (over-the-counter) with OPE equipment sales and external and internal customers and service technicians in identifying needed parts utilizing diagrams and provided technology.
· Add parts to estimates for service department.
· Pull/order/stock/inventory parts for sales and service tickets.
· Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries; If the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store.
· Provide excellent customer service
· Work to develop a sense of “team” in the sales and Parts department and across other departments.
· Receive payments, make proper change, and bag merchandise for customer; Receive and fill phone orders.
· Manage warm leads and cultivate those into sales of equipment, parts, and/or service.
· Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner. Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; respond well to questions. Respond promptly to customer needs.
· Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
· Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
· Follow all company and vendor policies and procedures
Monthly Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet with Sales/Parts/Service Manager to discuss improvement processes needing implemented during the next quarter.
Annual Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet with Sales/Parts/Service Manager to discuss year-end results, goals, and objectives for the upcoming year.
