Equine Barn Attendant

Elgin Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Equine Barn Attendant to join our team!
Elgin Veterinary Hospital located in Elgin, TX is an equine emergency referral and primary care facility that offers the best in medical and surgical treatments. We emphasize exceptional customer service and patient care.

Ideal Candidate:

• has experience with horses and able to work around them in a safe manner
• has previous stall cleaning experience
• must have a positive "can do" attitude
• works well independently and with a team
• exceptional dedication to facility cleanliness
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement conditions including but not limited to excessive heat/cold temperatures, raining and icy weather conditions
• Ability to physically stoop or bend

Duties include:

• Stall cleaning
• General barn cleaning
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Moving hay bales
• Cleaning waterers
• Feeding
