Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
- Manages situational crisis or conflict utilizing counseling techniques and offering alternatives for resolving complaints.
- Handles all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employment matters from the informal process, formal process and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process while handling all procedural conflicts for resolution options at the lowest level possible through appropriate workplace dispute resolution avenue.
- Manages and completes all federal reporting data, i.e., Annual 462 Report, annual MD 715 Report, Quarterly NO FEAR ACT Report, support the DEIA committee, Annual Special Emphasis Programs (9).
- Manages the EEO investigations process by reviewing Individual Plans and handling all the documents in accordance with EEOC MD-110 regulations ref: Report of Investigation.
- Conducts legal sufficiency reviews to ensure all Reports of Investigations (ROIs) are accurately investigated and tabbed in accordance with the EEOC MD 110 regulations.
- Consults and advises on broad, complex, and sensitive Equal Employment opportunity issues.
- Assists managers in integrating EEO actions into their ongoing management strategy.
