Job Description:
As the EPMO Sr. Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic, global team, managing projects.
The Sr. Project Manager provides tactical management of all project execution as defined in applicable project or program plans. The Sr. Project Manager ensures project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and corporate quality requirements are produced on time and are within budget. The Sr. Project Manager is expected to lead multiple projects concurrently.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages day to day activities associated with one or more moderate to highly complex projects, ensuring that business solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and they meet corporate standards. Creates, revises and maintains project and resource plans, as well as schedules and other deliverables or procedures required by the methodology. Communicates effectively and consistently with all project team members stakeholders associated with the project. Ensures successful deployment of product, including internal implementation and business readiness activities for external launch.
  • Actively manages and leads project teams to execute projects, demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking skills, leadership and a sense of urgency. Initiates and actively facilitates team meetings and issue resolution involving the right parties to resolve problems. Effectively manages team to complete projects, including coaching, delegating, providing feedback and resolving conflicts and problems. Fosters a team environment of shared ownership in the execution of the project. Ensures adherence to standard project time reporting, quality practices and audit compliance.
  • Analyzes and communicates project or program status using standard and specific project management analysis techniques for budget and schedule variance. This includes but is not limited to the generation and publication of Project Status Reports. Maintains and always keeps up to date of all project relevant budget, schedule, and resource information within the portfolio management tool. Ensures the completion of standard project communications and deliverables such as project charters, issues logs, risk management and implementation plans.
  • Analyzes current and new project management processes and procedures to identify the most efficient and inexpensive ways to complete projects to meet the business and stakeholder objectives. Participates in either formal or informal education of non-PMO resources on project management practices at Datasite and in the industry. Establishes and maintains a strong partnership with internal customers to fully understand the business and their technological needs. Evaluates and makes recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and customer service, reduces costs and provides a competitive advantage.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field are highly desirable.
Educational Requirements:
  • Degree in finance, business administration, public administration or equivalent degree and/or experience
  • Project Management certification, preferred

Experience Requirements:
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • Agile, Kanban experience, preferred
  • Salesforce experience, preferred

Essential Skills:
  • Proven ability to be a leader in the change process
  • Expertise in documentation, presentation tools, and project management tools
  • Expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and other Project Management methodologies
  • Knowledge of financial business process and systems to understand the impact of project decisions on business objectives including but not limited to Money Transfer and Bill Pay, preferred
  • Excellent skills in critical thinking and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships across IT, business lines and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage change and priorities and coordinate/realign project resources as necessary
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project PPM, Jira, Confluence) tool experience desired
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and alongside a peer/mentor where necessary
  • Utilize and support project methods, process and toolkit as well as be an ambassador of the Project Management Office
  • Group facilitation skills, negotiation and ability to influence and drive decisions
  • Ability to articulate project challenges to project stakeholders and IT & business Leadership in a timely manner for escalation transparency and guidance
  • Ability to facilitate identification and resolution of project risks, issues and actions

Estimated Salary range - $150-$170k
