Job description

EPM Cloud Senior Specialist
The EPM Cloud Senior Specialist is primarily responsible for technical operations associated with the Financial Consolidation and Close System (FCCS) and the Accounts Reconciliation Cloud System (ARCS). This role also assists with the support and maintenance of the other Oracle EPM Cloud modules (EPBCS, EDMC and PCMC). The role is considered the EPM Cloud FCCS and ARCS technology expert and is a hands-on role identifying opportunities for efficiencies and best practices to support business goals along with supporting day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day administration of EPM systems and related policies and procedures, designed to obtain, record, and update foundational system data.
  • Responsibilities include planning, configuring, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Oracle Financial Cloud environments.
  • Support and maintenance of the Oracle Cloud EPM Systems that enable accounting department activities.
  • Help lead root cause analysis of system issues and manage remediation, including creating, working, and managing Oracle Support and Internal service tickets and escalating support, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Information Systems team, Accounting, and internal team members to evaluate, design, and otherwise provide solutions that contribute to the delivery of the Accounting/Finance business solutions.
  • Support data management in various systems for key accounting data.
  • Participates in system requirements definition studies, developing workflows of current and proposed system operations, collection, and organization of pertinent system documentation.
  • Provides analysis and direction to devise or modify applications and/programs to extract routine and ad hoc reporting for the accounting team and for data integration projects.
  • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.
  • Develops, implements, and provides technical control and support for the current and future cloud modules.
  • Devises and/or modifies methods and programs to solve complex data reporting needs, also provides technical consulting on complex projects. Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of EPM system upgrades.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in a related area such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years or more prior experience developing, implementing, modifying, project managing, and day-to-day administration of EPM Cloud systems (FCCS and ARCS are a plus)
  • 3 -5 years prior experience in a full-function Accounting and/or Finance department.
  • Advanced knowledge of EPM Cloud systems such as FCCS, ARCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, EDM, MS Access, or other data warehouse required; will accept advanced knowledge of HFM system.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with demonstrated organizational skills and time management skills required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, MDX, Calc Scripts or other programming languages required.
  • Proven ability to achieve high service quality results as well as meet productivity levels required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts and general knowledge of Accounting/Finance Business processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with standard Windows PC software including the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access preferred.
  • Results-oriented, able to anticipate change and respond to client priorities, demonstrating a "can do" attitude.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial competence.
  • Willingness to work additional overtime and after hours as needed.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$85,500.00 - $114,000.00
