Epic/EMR Supervisor

(on-site/Hybrid)

Must Have EPIC experience!

  • Directing and supervising work across deployment, support, maintenance and optimization projects
  • Growing and supporting FTE and contract resources
  • Completing FTE annual reviews, goal planning and career development
  • Coordinating and participating in training and onboarding new team members
  • Reinforcing established processes and procedures
  • Meeting and collaborating with other supervisors on the Epic project team
  • Implementing strategic initiatives on the application team
  • Coordinating and escalating all issues that arise on the application team
  • Working closely with the Project Management team on site implementations, upgrades and optimization projects
  • Understanding business operations, workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software in order to make decisions
  • Analyzing business operations as they relate to build decisions and validating details of specifications as needed
  • Helping to coordinate and prioritize software changes on the application team
  • Developing and documenting application team procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks
  • Serving as a liaison between end users, third parties, and Epic teams when necessary

Required:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or team leader in support and build of Epic software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, business administration, health care or related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Epic Inpatient Procedure Orders certified
  • Applicable Industry knowledge (Clinical or IS Healthcare)
  • Ability to communicate and translate between IS and operations at an executive leadership level

Preferred:

  • Communicate directives
  • Ability to facilitate options and make lower level decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, onboard and share knowledge
