Job Description
Willow Analyst-Pharmacist Analysts are the primary support contact for Pharmacy applications. Willow Analyst-Pharmacist analysts coordinate issues that arise for their application areas and must be knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, quality standards, and business operations. As most Epic applications integrate data, the application analyst should know where each piece of data within a respective workflow originates and ultimately contributes to quality outcomes. Familiarity with a healthcare organization's pharmacy workflows, regulatory requirements, and patient experiences as well as understanding a wide array of integration points is required. Willow Analyst-Pharmacist analysts must make decisions regarding the urgency and or seriousness of calls and serve as a liaison between the technical staff of the department and the department's wide variety of customers and must escalate appropriately to resolve issues. Depending on operations, business, or project needs, the Willow Analyst-Pharmacist Analyst may be asked to perform duties outside what is defined in the job description temporarily.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
Georgia Pharmacist Licensure
Qualifications
* Current Epic certification(s) or accreditation in the area of support is preferred. Epic certification in other areas may be considered initially. If Epic certification(s) in the area of support has not been obtained or has lapsed, certification(s) related to the area of support must be achieved during the first 90 days. Epic certification(s) in the area of support must be kept current, completing NVT (new version training) and re-certification as required.
* Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Preferred.
* Additional Epic Certifications Accreditations and Badges preferred but not required
* Analyst level and role-specific qualifications are outlined in the Information Technology Ladders Policy
Shift Description
Standard shift is M-F 830am-5pm. Depending on needs of the business, the analyst may be required to work early, stay late, and work weekends. The analyst is required to participate in the on call and overnight reboot rotations
