The Epic Support Analyst works under the direction of the Executive Director of Information Services and assists in the overall functioning of the Information Services Department.

The Epic Support Analyst serves as a liaison between system end-users, operational leaders, and OCHIN (hosting partner) to provide application support and optimization. The Analyst must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team environments. Epic Support Analysts should have a high degree of technical aptitude, possess strong critical thinking skills, and be an advocate for OMC throughout implementation, go-live and optimization phases.

Initially, EHR Support Analysts play a key part in the installation of Epic for OMC. Over the long-term, the role becomes the first line of defense when issues arise.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality per OMC policy
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to perform additional duties on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

  • The Analyst must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team environments.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality teamwork and education.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
  • 2+ years within healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • Certified or proficient in one Epic module (or must be obtained within 9 months of employment date).
