Form of workPrincipal trainers (PTs) work with the training manager, application coordinators, and application managers to develop and maintain the training program for the roles in their application. The PT must work closely with medical staff services to ensure the timely delivery of training programs for physicians and APPs. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. The position requires an on-site resource. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Qualifications
*At least 1 Epic Certification (expired or up-to-date), 1-2 years of experience in Epic as SuperUser or part of the implementation. If no direct Epic experience, 2-5 years of related experience.
*Being cooperative and approachable, and taking time to listen to and address others' questions or concerns
*Demonstrating flexibility to required changes in training content and delivery methods
*Skill and experience in adult education
*The ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and promptly
*The ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to trainers and trainees when speaking and in writing. This includes targeting the amount, style, and content of the information to the receiver's needs.
*The ability to develop and deliver formal presentations. This includes presenting information clearly and interestingly, commanding the audience's attention, developing effective materials, and handling questions or challenges from the audience.
*The ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs
*The ability to read a text, identify major points, make inferences, and draw conclusions that accurately reflect the material
*The ability to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
*The ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of work activities, and ensuring training sessions and supporting materials meet Epic standards

Shift DescriptionStandard shift is M-F 830am-5pm. Depending on needs of the business, the analyst may be required to work early, stay late, and work weekends. The analyst is required to participate in the on call and overnight reboot rotations
