Form of workStaring Pay: $74,970.00Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of Epic Patient Experience and associated patient-facing applications; for example, mobile application, web portals or welcome kiosks. You will be both an advocate and a subject matter expert for Epic Patient Experience applications, and develop and document the internal procedures that will be used together with Epic applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain those solutions.Primary Tasks:1. You will be the primary support contact for the application's end‐users.
Troubleshooting problems and questions2. You will identify issues that arise in their application area and issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them3. You will guide workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software.
Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system4. You will serve as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic staff5. You will communicate with Application Manager and Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership6. You will work with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets our needs regarding the project deliverables and timeline7. You will develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for our workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions8.
You will hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end‐user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones9. You will need to have the ability to travel for project collaboration and training10. You will preform other responsibilities as assigned by managementRequired Education, Skills and Experience:MINIMUM+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or healthcare field or 4 (+) years professional experience in healthcare or business related field+ 2 years of healthcare experience in areas represented on team+ Existing knowledge of healthcare culture, personnel, and processes+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills+ Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills+ Strong critical thinking skills: The ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way+ Operate and communicate while under pressure.About the Choctaw NationThe Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 11,000 employees.
