DESCRIPTION
Epic ASAP EMR Analyst will be responsible for design, building, testing, and implementation of Epic's ASAP Emergency Department module and related clinical application systems. Provides support to clinical users through knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards, when adapting software to meet their needs. Have in-depth, expert knowledge of the Epic ASAP product and/or clinical workflows.
Works with clinicians to create or adapt written policies. Prepares detailed specs encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis. Provide customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance. As a technical leader in clinical applications applies advanced professional concepts and extensive industry knowledge to lead and/or work on medium to large projects of broad scope and complexity. May be recognized expert of an area of focus of business in clinical applications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Seven (7) years of related experience (supporting upgrades, maintenance, EMR build etc.) education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related (supporting 3rd party application, upgrades, maintenance, EMR build etc.) experience/training.
Must obtain certification in primary EMR module(s) within four (4) months of initial hire.
Must maintain current certification for primary EMR module(s) as a condition of employment.
Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EPIC ASAP Certification preferred upon hire.
RN, NP, PA, RT, or Pharmacist.
Experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $91,300 - $170,700 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $43.73 - $81.75
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
