Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EP Technician, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members. Your care will change the lives of our patients.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be  responsible for care and evaluation of patients having EP procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the EP Lab
• You will monitor patients during EP procedures, and perform sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures

What qualifications you will need:

Education: 

• Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technician preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: 

• RT or CVT required; RCIS is preferred but not required
• A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification is required
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required

Experience: 

• Previous Cardiac Catheterization or EP experience strongly preferred
