- Position Summary
- The ElectrophysiologyTechnologist will utilize a combination of training, assessment and technical skills in the accomplishment of their duties in the EP Labs. The level I EP LabTech Is required to scrub and assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- The position requires the use of hemodynamic monitoring equipment and constant evaluation of the patients' hemodynamic status, electrograms and vital signs. The EP technologist will also be required to manage the digital image during the procedure.
- Work is done with considerable independence. Accurate record keeping, attention to detail and working knowledge of Windows is essential.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of school of Cardiovascular Technology, school of Radiologic Technologyor an advanced, comprehensive program of cardiovascular specialization.
- License/Certifications: RTs must be ARRT and have a current Maine license.
- Experience: Electrophysiology experience preferred but not required.
- Sterile technique.
