Alta Science & Engineering, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a position to be based in our Boise, Idaho office. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Position would provide experience to a locally-based college student or recent graduate in a science or engineering related field. This part-time, hourly position will support a specific project and may be limited in duration; however, additional work may become available.
Responsibilities May Include:
• Scanning documents and records into electronic format or filing paper documents into storage systems
• Inspecting the quality of scanned output regularly
• Entering data into computer databases and maintaining electronic records
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism during interactions with Alta staff and its clients, and other stakeholders.
• Provide timely communication with supervisor regarding work-related matters.
• Actively promote good Health and Safety practices at all times.
• Clerical office tasks related to environmental and engineering projects.
• Taking initiative by communicating progress and identifying solutions to challenges.
Required Qualifications:
• Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited university, or recent graduate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills will be critical for successful completion of tasks
• Strong working knowledge of computers and MS Office Software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
