This position is eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $5,000 (prorated for part time roles). The bonus will be paid out as a $500 pay adjustment in the first paycheck; the second installment of $500 will be paid out after the 90 day completion of successful orientation; the third installment of $2,000 will be paid after 6 months of employment and the remaining $2,000 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours/ prorated for part time) of satisfactory service in Environmental Services.
Starting salary is $16.30 - $20.10/ hr (depending on experience). In addition to the hourly rate of pay, there is a $1.90 - $6.15/hr differential depending on shift. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, retirement and paid time off.

The Environmental Services Worker II is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the facility with the exception of the OR. The ESW II knows how to handle cleaning issues or knows the appropriate resources available to solve the specific problem.
The Environmental Services Worker III is capable of cleaning all areas of the facility. The ESW III may be capable of handling the waste streams, implementing both hard floor and carpet care procedures, serving as a preceptor and a role model for ESW II. Internal candidates must demonstrate the skills and knowledge to be successful in the ESW II role to be considered for an ESW III position.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Satisfactory completion of Environmental Services Orientation Training Program within three months after hire. Meets the physical demands of the job as evaluated by functional screening.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior health care or hospitality industry cleaning experience is highly desirable.
