We are looking for a full time Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (EHS) to add to our team! The EHS specialist is a subject matter expert who will lead and coordinate EHS compliance for the facility. Pay range is up to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.

About the EHS Specialist Role
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist is a subject matter authority who assists in leading the Environmental Health and safety agenda for the facility, working closely with the General Manager. In this role, you will lead the execution and continuous improvement of the environmental, health, and safety, and process safety management system for the facility, which consists of highly regulated processes and activities.
This position is responsible for safety compliance efforts, as well as assisting with injury prevention strategies. The position serves as a resource to employees in all safety and environmental aspects.
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in EHS related field
- Degree in Engineering, Safety or Environmental studies preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (especially machine shop) strongly desired
- Good safety and environmental regulatory understanding
- OSHA 10 Hour Certification preferred
