Koontz Bryant Johnson Williams (KBJW) company, is seeking an Environmental Geologist to join the dynamic growing team in our Dayton, Ohio office.
The Environmental Geologist primary function is to prepare environmental, soil, surface water, and groundwater evaluations and determine environmental impacts for a wide range of project types and clients. You will be responsible for meeting project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

As an EnvironmentalGeologist you will be responsible for:
· Perform assignments requiring the application of geological techniques and procedures.
· Conduct surveys and field studies to gather soils and geologic data.
· Assist with planning and coordinating field drilling operations.
· Compile and analyze soil and rock samples from field exploration projects.
· Compile and analyze field data, aerial photographs, satellite images, maps, GIS data geologic reports, and survey data.
· Perform lab testing on soil, rock, or concrete samples.
· Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
· Collect soil, surface water, and groundwater samples for analysis
· Analyze laboratory results
· Interact with clients, other consultants, and federal/state regulators
· Work closely with Manager to complete projects within schedules and budgets
· Prepare reports, correspondence, technical specifications, drawings
· Adhere to company safety polices and use of supplied personal protective equipment.
· Travel to other Firm's offices, client offices, and project sites.
· Occasional overnight travel may be required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree: Geology or related field
· Advanced technical writing skills
· A flexible working style with an ability to work independently and within a team.
· Analytical and judgment capabilities.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
· A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
· Jr Env Geologist: entry level position: 0-3 years experience
· Env Geologist: >3 years experience; GIT or PG license required; working knowledge of KBJW environmental services
· Sr. Geologist: >7 years experience; PG License required; excellent technical knowledge of KBJW environmental services
