Environmental Cleaning Specialist

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Cleaning Specialist position.
Type: 40hrs/wk. Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Location: North Chicago, IL
Pay: $17.85/hr
Length: Six (6) months with the possibility of extension
Shift: Mon - Fri, 6a - 230p ** Weekends/Holidays required - Every other Saturday and Holidays will be rotated**
Responsibilities for this Cleaning Specialist position include but are not limited to:
Based on the housekeeping needs for a specific area, the following tasks may be performed.

• Pick up and dispose of regular trash and wash waste containers.
• Pick up all recyclable paper and transport to designated areas.
• Picks up and bails corrugate and stages in designated areas.
• Pick up and dispose of autoclave waste.
• Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo and extract carpeted floors and dust mop, Sweep, damp mop, scrub, burnish, strip and refinish resilient and Concrete floors.
• Spot clean, damp wipe and wash walls, partitions, ceilings, doors and glass.
• Dust high and low, spot clean, damp wipes and wash office furniture.
• Dust and wash light fixtures and replace burned out light bulbs using a step ladder six foot tall or less.
• Clean washrooms. Washroom fixture (mirrors, sinks, urinals, toilets, etc.)
Qualifications for this Cleaning Specialist position:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Housekeeping/Janitorial experience
