- Primary responsibilities providing technical expertise and supporting Environmental staff within a branch
- Responsibilities include performing the following at the office level:
- Overseeing projects
- Performing technical report reviews
- Preparing proposals
- Assisting with management of the department and P&L
- Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
- Responsibilities may include work at a regional level
- Responsibilities also include leading and coaching junior Environmental staff members
- Industrial Hygiene health and safety
- OSHA compliance
- Asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality
- Client management and development
- Manage project budgets and prepare monthly invoices
- Representing ECS at industry marketing events and conferences
- Training junior staff and managing projects with one or more field technicians on-site
- Maintaining a safe work environment for you and your co-workers
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, Natural Resources/ Forestry, Soil Science, Geomorphology, Hydrology/Hydrogeology
- Minimum 8 years of professional environmental experience required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Environmental Manager (R.E.M.), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Waste Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Licensed Soil Scientist (LSS), Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE), Registered Environmental Property Assessor (REPA), Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), or Professional Geologist (P.G.)
- You are expected to be proficient in at least one of the following disciplines:
- TDLR Mold Assessment Consultant License required
- TDSHS Individual Asbestos Consultant License required
- Experience with industrial health and safety, OSHA compliance, asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality is preferred
- TDSHS Lead Inspector or Lead Risk Assessor preferred
- Industrial Hygiene experience (Bacteria/Noise/ATP)
